On Thursday morning CFD Volunteers responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on County Route 48 at the intersection of Depot Lane.

Responders found a three car collision with injured occupants.

CFD utilized both of its ambulances to transport two patients to Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport for treatment of minor injuries.

Firefighters checked both vehicles hazards and controlled the leaking fluids using speedy-dry.

One lane of west bound Route 48 was closed for appoximatley 20 minutes until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
