On Thursday night at its regular monthly meeting, the Cutchogue Fire Department welcomed in its 2 newest members, Rex Spielman and Andrew Voegel.

Both Andrew & Rex were officially sworn into the department by Chief Behr as a probationary members and represent the 579th and 580th members to ever serve the Cutchogue Community.

Andrew is a third generation firefighter and CFD Junior that will now follow the in the footsteps of his father Chris Voegel and Grandfather Jay Voegel of the Mattituck FD.

The Officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to welcome them both to the CFD family and wish them well as they begin their firefighting careers.
