Early Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on Eugenes Rd. near Beebe Drive in Cutchogue.

Police and Fire Department units arrived to discover a single vehicle accident in which a car had struck a utility pole and rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was able to self extricate himself from the vehicle and was uninjured.

The patient was evaluated by the CFD Rescue Squad and refused any medical treatment.

CFD firefighters checked the vehicle for any hazards and stood by on scene for approximately 1/2 hour until the vehicle could be removed from the roadway.
