On Saturday afternoon around 4:10 p.m. the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on State Route 25 Bedell Winery in Cutchogue.

Police and Fire Department units arrived to discover a single vehicle accident in which a car had struck a utility pole and rolled over, coming to rest on it's roof.

There was a total of 3 occupants in the vehicle. 2 occupants of the vehicle were assisted from the vehicle by bystanders while a third was packaged removed by Fire and EMS personnel.

The patients were treated by the CFD Rescue Squad with the assistance of the Stony Brook Hospital First Responder and the Southold FD. The patients were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead for treatment.

Additional CFD firefighters checked the vehicle for any hazards and stood by on scene for approximately 1/2 hour until the vehicle could be removed from the roadway.
