With the arrival of our new 75'Quint earlier this year, the Cutchogue Fire Department is offering for sale by sealed bid, our retired Engine 8-5-3.

This vehicle was removed from service in August of 2018.

1987 Ford C8000 / E-One Class A Pumper, model Pro XLT-TC
Caterpiller Diesel 3208 engine
21,000 miles
Hale 1250 GPM single stage pump with top mount controls.
(2) preconnect crosslays
750 gallon water tank.
10 kw onboard Onan Diesel Generator.
2 hannay electric cord reels
4 floodlights.
It has a current pump test and was certified in July 2018.

NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT CUTCHOGUE FIRE DISTRICT SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

That one 1987 Emergency One Class A Pumper, model Pro XLT-TC, on a Ford C8000 Chassis, with Caterpillar diesel engine and 21,000 miles, a 1250 GPM Hale Pump, a mounted 750-gallon water tank, is being offered for Public Bid as surplus equipment by the Cutchogue Fire District.

Sealed bids are to be opened on October 9th, 2018, at 8:00pm at the Cutchogue Firehouse, 260 New Suffolk Rd, Cutchogue, NY 11935. The Cutchogue Fire District will entertain a minimum bid of $10,000.00.

Written bids must be signed by the bidder with bidder's name, address and telephone number printed thereon, and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked 1987 Class A Pumper Truck Bid, and delivered to the Board of Fire Commissioners, Cutchogue Fire District, 260 New Suffolk Rd, Cutchogue, NY 11935 by October 9th at 8:00 PM.

If two or more bidders submit identical highest bids, the Board of Fire Commissioners shall sell the vehicle to the bid first received by the Board.
The Board reserves the right to reject all bids. The successful bidder will be required to pay the bid amount by cash or official bank check and take delivery of the vehicle within 10 days of notification of acceptance of the bid by the Cutchogue Fire District.

The vehicle is available for inspection at the Cutchogue Fire House 260 New Suffolk Rd., Cutchogue, NY 11935 between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM 7days per week.

The vehicle is to be sold in as is condition and includes approximately 1,500 ft of 3 Fire Hose.

Other Fire Department equipment and signage will be removed by the Fire District at time of delivery.
