The Chiefs, Officers and Members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to congratulate Brian Nicholson, one of our former Junior Firefighters on his recent completion of U.S. Marine Corps basic training.

Last Friday, Brian graduated from basic training at Marine Base Parris Island, and was joined by his proud family who traveled down for the ceremony.

Brian is the son of CFD Water Rescue Captian Ed Nicholson.

Brian is a 2019 graduate of Mattituck High School, and was a member of the CFD Juniors for over 6 years.

We welcome him home as he will be spending the rest of the week here in Cutchogue before beginning the next phase of his training.

Congratulations Brian and best of luck with your military career.
