As Printed in the Advertisement:

"Reacting at 4 a.m. isn't easy. But with Vetter, the rescue took 20 minutes, That system's amazing" - Bob Fisher 1st Asst. Chief

At 4:21 on the morning of June 30, 1983, members of the Cutchogue Fire Department received a call for help. A jeep had rolled over after hitting a telephone pole and the driver a young woman, had her right leg pinned underneath. Part of the telephone pole was still lying across the vehicle. The wires were intact.... and hot.

Vetter Air Bags were placed under the frame by the patient's leg and under the jeep's roll bar. Then the vehicle was raised four inches, enough space to free the driver without disturbing the wires. She was in the ambulance at approximately 4:40.

The rescue was the first time the team had used Vetter Bags, remembers Fisher "Everyone was impressed. The bags were fast, powerful, and quiet. People work more efficiently when they are able to communicate easily."

We wish to salute the Cutchogue Fire Department by presenting them with the Vetter Certificate of Recognition. Like these individuals, Vetter products have earned the right to be called Lifesavers. It;s a distinction were proud to share with you.
