MVA in Cutchogue Village

On Saturday afternoon at approximately 1:00 pm, the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched for a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 25 in the heart of Cutchogue Village.

The two vehicle accident accident occurred at the intersection of Griffing St.

Police and Fire Department units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with moderate damages.

All of the Occupants were able to exit the vehicles on their own prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.

One driver was treated and transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.

Firefighters made the vehicles safe and controlled the leaking fluids from the cars, and remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes providing traffic control until the vehicles were towed form the scene.
