Our regular monthly training schedule continued last night, focusing on basic SCBA skills and emergency procedures.

We covered SCBA basics and then the members had to negotiate their way through several obstacles such as a 20" tube, serpentine, low/ reduced profile obstacles and them had to free themselves using the quick release method from an entanglement.

Members were blacked out and on air for the entire evolution.

Each month throughout the year we host a variety of in-house training sessions that help us refine our skills. These drills and trainings are in addition to a schedule of Live-fire & hands on training that is held at the Suffolk County Fire Academy.
