On Thursday Morning at approximately 3:00 a.m. the Southold Fire Department was dispatched to respond to a reported structure fire at storage building located on Hobart Rd. in Southold near Founders Landing.

Southold Fire Department arrived to find a working fire consuming structures that included a storage building and a nearby garage in close proximity to the Sea-Tow Boat docks.

The Cutchogue Fire Department was requested to assist at the scene with an additional manpower. Engine 8-5-4 made the response.

Once on scene CFD firefighters were put to work assisting with extinguishing any remaining fire and overhauling.

Crews operated on scene for over an hour.

FIrefighters were able to confine the damage to a the outbuildings, and prevented the spread to nearby homes.

No injuries were reported.
