At 6:27 Monday morning Cutchogue fire Department was dispatched to a reported Vehicle fire in the in the Industrial park located at Cox Lane and Route 48.

Responding Police & FD units arrived and located a fire.in a small box van. The fire had been partially knocked down by the caller.

The van contained landscaping and irrigation equipment.

Firefighters arriving on the first due Engine 8-5-4 deployed a handline to knock down the any remaining fire, with crews from the other apparatus assisting with manpower and overhaul.

Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
