It is with deep regret that the Chiefs announce that Honorary Firefighter Robert Tuthill has answered his last alarm.

We received word earlier this week from family that Robert passed away on November 3rd in Maine at the age of 91.

He was an active member of CFD for over 30 years from 1948 up until 1979 when he moved with his wife Betty to his current home in
Brooks Maine.

He was a US Navy Veteran and held positions in CFD as a Chief Driver of the Fog #1 and Rescue Squad Captain

He continued his volunteer service joining The Brooks Fire Department in Maine, serving as a well respected firefighter for another 30 years before retiring in 2010.
