On Sunday December 11th the Cutchogue Fire Department will host its Tenth Annual "Stuff The Sleigh 5k Race and walk".

Now in it's 10th year, the race raises money for the Cutchogue Fire Department Scholarship fund and other charities supported by CFD. A portion of the proceeds will support donations to the American Parkinsons Diesase Assosciation and the Firefighters Cancer Support Network and CAST.

The morning's festivities will begin with a Children's fun run as children can run a shortened race to the firehouse where they were be met by Santa Claus at the finish line.

At 10:00 am the race will start in front of the firehouse and follow a scenic 5k course through New Suffolk. The race will end at the firehouse where a reception including awards, clam chowder and refreshments will be served.

The race also serves as a Toy drive, as all participants are asked to bring a new toy to "Stuff the Sleigh" for needy families during the Christmas Holiday. We Hope to fill the sleigh with several hundred gifts by days end.
