The officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to congratulate 3 of our Probationary members who recently completed the Firefighter 1 course at the Suffolk County Fire Academy.

All 3 successfully completed the 110 hours course that began in January and consisted of a series of combined classroom and of hands-on sessions.

The Firefighter 1 certification serves as the basic training for new firefighters and marks a significant milestone in their probationary period.

They all joined the department in late 2022 and have been working hard to reach this important milestone.
