The Cutchogue Fire Department welcomed in its two newest members, Rocco Horton and Joseph S. Zuhosk i IV during its regular monthly meeting on March 7th.
Both men were officially sworn into the department as a probationary members and represent the 622nd and 623rd members to ever serve the Cutchogue Community.
Both were members of the CFD Juniors Program and are come from firefighting families.
Joey is a 4th generation firefighter and longtime CFD Junior that will now follow the in the footsteps of his father Joe Zuhoski III, Grandfather Ex-Chief Joe Zuhoski Jr., his late Great Grandfather Joe Zuhoski Sr. and other family members.
Rocco, joins his Father Lt. Ricky Horton and his Brother Lexington as members of the Department.
Under the direction of Chief William Brewer, the Fathers were given the unique honor of swearing their sons as CFD newest members.
The Officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to welcome them both to the CFD family and wish them well as they begin their firefighting careers and carry on a family tradition.
Joey and Rocco are among a group of new eager volunteers that have joined CFD over the past year to continue the CFD tradition of serving our community with pride.
The CFD is always looking for new members to join our family.
