It is with great sadness that the Chiefs Announce the passing of Firefighter Jeff Rehm. (Robert J. Rehm)

Jeff passed away on July 1st surrounded by family. He was 75 years old.

Jeff joined CFD in 1992 as member #421. He served as a past EMT, and a past officer.

He was firefighter of the year in 1993 and is among a group of CFD members who responded to NYC to assist at the WTC in the days following September 11th.

He also served our country in the US Army.

Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation: Tuesday, July 9th 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Defriest Grattan Funeral Home 13805 Main Road (Rt. 25) Mattituck, NY 11952

Firematic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Any firefighters attending are asked to wear Class A uniforms.

Burial / Graveside Service: Wednesday, July 10th at Calverton National Cemetery. Leaving the Funeral Home at 9:30am

The Chiefs officers and members would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the entire Rehm Family, and all of Jeff's Friends here at CFD.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
