Fire prevention week activities continued for CFD on Thursday October as members visited the Bright and Early Pre-school in Cutchogue as part of their 2025 Fire Safety Program.

With special assistance from Sparky the fire dog, the children had the opportunity to visit with the firefighters and tour the department's fire trucks they learned about safety and about the many skills and tools that the firefighters and EMT's use.

Sparky even helped the children use a real fire hose.

Everyone had a great time.
