On Sunday evening Cutchogue firefighters assisted Santa Claus with a very special mission.

Each year, in order to double check and finalize his list for the "Big Night", Santa Claus would normally makes the rounds to visits homes in Cutchogue.

But rather than stopping at houses, Santa wanted to spread a little bit of Joy to the entire Community.

While the rest of the reindeer were home resting, the elves from CFD escorted Santa and his friends with around Cutchogue aboard a parade of firetrucks and chief's cars specially decorated for the occasion.

This year, Santa brought along several friends to help him spread Christmas Cheer to everyone.

He was joined by Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, Prancer and CFD's Sparky the Firedog.

Thank you to the everyone in the community who came out to cheer for Santa, or give a wave from your window as we made the rounds through town.

For several hours CFD Firefighters travelled through as many parts of town as possible.

Santa wishes to thank CFD for their help with his mission, and wishes everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
