| On Friday Evening, the Cutchogue Fire Department in conjunction with the Cutchogue Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary hosted their annual Halloween Parade for the children of the community.
The parade started at 6 pm. at the Cutchogue West School on Depot lane. This year over 300 children, and families in various costumes participated in the parade marching down the Main Road to the Firehouse on New Suffolk Rd. CFD Firetrucks and Firefighters were at each intersection along the way to close down traffic as the parade came through. The parade was led by the Cutchogue Fire Department Band with all of the little ghosts, goblins and little princesses following closely behind.
Once at the firehouse, the band led everyone inside where all of the children were treated to a reception at the firehouse where the CFD Ladies Auxiliary provided refreshments and special treats for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's parade, and thank you to the CFD Ladies Auxiliary for providing the refreshments.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM CFD |
