CFD Panthers Place 2nd at Annual Brookhaven Town Drill

The Chiefs and Officers of CFD would like to congratulate the Panthers Drill Team on taking Second Place at the annual Town of Brookhaven Drill held on Friday, June 14th.

The Drill was hosted by the Brookhaven Town Drill Team Association and took place under the lights at Fireman's Memorial Park in Ridge.

The team competed against ten other teams from the association in the annual Drill.

The Panthers took first place in the B & C Hose contests and placed in ten of the eleven contests, accumulating a total of 34 points to place second overall in the drill for the second year in a row.

With two events remaining, the Panthers were within a 3 points of the lead in the tournament before being narrowly edged out by the Riverhead Ironmen" who finished the night with 38 points.

Other Top 5 Finshers included the Miller Place "Extinquishers, Farmingville "Bandits" and the Selden "SloPokes"

Thank you to everyone who came out to the drill to support the team on this night.
