It is with deep regret that the Cutchogue Fire Department announces the passing of Clara "Cotty" Tuthill a 70 year member of the CFD Ladies Auxiliary.

As a devoted supporter of the Cutchogue Fireman for over 70 years, Cotty was a staple at many CFD events and the annual Chicken Barbecue where she could be seen working alongside her beloved husband Hallock preparing the foods and salads and doing whatever she could.

She was also among the original organizers the of the now popular Chicken Barbecue that has become a North Fork Summer Tradition for over 58 years.

The Chiefs, Officers and Members would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the he nephew FF Jason Cooper and the entire Tuthill & Cooper families. We will be forever grateful for her many years of support.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
