On Sunday August 16th the Cutchogue Fire Department participated in the 2015 New York State Parade. The parade was hosted this year by the Selden Fire Department in conjunction with the New York State Parade and Drill Team Captains Association and the Annual New York State Motorized Drill which was held on Saturday at Fireman's Field in Ridge.

CFD was among over 80 fire departments that participated in this year's parade that represented areas from across New York State that included Buffalo, Northern and Capital Regions of the state as well as Long Island.

CFD members braved Sunday's high temperatures and proudly marched down the streets of Selden. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. the parade lasted over 3 hours. This year marks the 19th year that CFD has participated in this annual parade.

The CFD Panthers Drill team competed in Saturday's competition that included over 40 other teams and placed 4th place in the Motor pump contest.

The officers and members of CFD would like to thank our Brother and Sister firefighters from the Selden Fire Department for your hospitality and efforts that was put into hosting the weekend's events.

CFD PRIDE!
