| On Thursday night at approximately 5:30 p.m. the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident at the Intersection of Griffing Street and Schoolhouse Rd.
Responding units arrived to find a single car had lost control going around a turn and left the roadway.
The car came to rest intoa hundred feet from the road in heavy brush and trees.
The Two occupants were able to exit the vehicle on their own and were treated by EMS personnel for minor injuries.
Firefighters checked the vehicle for any hazards and utilized chain saws to remove trees and branches from the scene so the vehicle could be towed.
1 patient was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Southold Town Police were on scene to investigate the accident. |
