On Saturday September 24th, members of the Cutchogue Fire Department Band participated in the Annual Greenport Maritime Festival Parade.

The two-day festival which is held each year celebrates Greenport Village's long maritime heritage.

For the past many years the CFD Band has had the pleasure of escorting the members of the Greenport Greek Orthodox church during the parade.

This year as part of the festival the historic FDNY Fireboat Firefighter, which now calls Greenport home, set sail during the afternoon and offered a water display for spectators as it flowed water from all of its firefighting deck guns in Greenport Harbor.
