Mutual Aid - Engine Stand-By during Southold Fire

On Thursday Decembers 29th at 12:20 a.m. the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Southold Fire Department while they battled a barn fire on Boissieu Avenue.

Southold Firefighters were battling the blaze in frigid temperatures and requested the CFD to stand-by at their headquarters in the event additional help was needed or there was any additional calls.

CFD Engine 8-5-4 responded and stood by, covering Southold's District for approximately 1 hour before being released.
