The Chiefs officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to take this opportunity the members of the Long Island Champion, Mattituck High School Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams.

The Boys team captured the Long island class D championship after winning their game Saturday at Hofstra Univeristy.

The Girls team captured the Long Island Class D championship after winning their game on Sunday at Islip High School.

Both teams were treated to a special escort as they returned home that included the Cutchogue and Mattituck Fire Departments and Southold Town Police.

We would like to congratulate both teams on your accomplishments.

We were proud to be part of your victory celebrations and welcome you back home.
