Just after 5:00 pm on Saturday Night, CFD Volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 48 at the intersection of Alvahs Lane in Cutchogue.

Firefighters and EMS personnel arrived to find 2 vehicle side impact collision that forced 1 vehicle off the roadway coming to rest in nearby bushes..

1 patient was treated and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, while other pasengers involved refused any medical treatment.

Firefighters checked the vehicles for any hazards, while CFD Fire Police diverted traffic until the vehicles were removed by the tow company.

Crews were on scene for 40 minutes

CFD firefighters would answer 3 calls over the course of Saturday.
