To Our Fellow Residents:

We would like to wish you and your families well during the COVID-19 virus situation. The health and safety of our community and members is of utmost importance. The Chiefs have been working with local officials and other agencies to help ensure that we are prepared to respond to any emergency.

The Cutchogue Fire Department is 100% committed to protecting our community while maintaining our safety, as well as yours. In doing so we ask that you take a few precautions in helping us do that.

If you are quarantined (mandatory or self-imposed) in your home due to possible or confirmed COVID-19 exposure, PLEASE notify and advise the dispatcher when you dial 911 during an emergency.

We also ask that you alert our volunteers, and police officers responding to your home to take infection prevention precautions before entering your home or business.

We need to be sure to protect our crews so that they will be able to continue to meet the emergency needs of our community.

The most important thing we can all do is limit exposure and practice good hygiene. We urge our residents to respect the requests made by both the Local, State and Federal government to limit your levels of exposure.

We must be proactive and follow these precautions to protect those who could be in the “higher- risk” category of susceptibility of the virus. It is also important to remain calm and to be respectful to each other during this time.

The members of CFD will continue to serve the residents of our community without delay and with the utmost professionalism.
