Fire Police Squad

The Cutchogue Fire Department Fire Police Squad was formed in 1930. Still to this day the primary responsibility of the fire police is the safeguarding of firefighters and other emergency personnel and their equipment. This is usually accomplished by controlling vehicle traffic and or pedestrian traffic at the scene of any fire or other emergency that the Cutchogue Fire Department has been dispatched to.
