October 8, 2021

On Wednesday October 6th, the members of the Cutchogue Fire Department and the Southold Town Police Benevolent Association were invited to play golf at the North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue.

On June 22nd of 1985 a devastating fire destroyed the country club in which several area fire departments fought the blaze for many hours.

In the years following, in what has become an annual tradition, the members of the NFCC open the course each October to the police and fire department members in recognition of the services to the community.

Members were treated to a lunch at the club, and a fun filled afternoon playing golf on the beautiful course overlooking the scenic waterfronts of Cutchogue.

Following golf, all participants returned to Cutchogue Fire Department where dinner was served and awards were given out for the day's golf performances.

The Officers and Members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to thank the members of the North Fork Country Club for opening your home to us, and for your continued support throughout the year.

Thank you to NFCC & staff from the course for all of your efforts to make this an enjoyable event for all of us at CFD & STPD.

Your hospitality is truly appreciated.

THANK YOU FROM CFD!
