| On Sunday Afternoon at around 3:00 p.m. the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 25 in front of Krupski's Pumpkin Farm in Peconic.
Police and Fire Department units arrived to discover a single vehicle accident in which a westbound car had drifted off the road veering across the oncoming lane and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was able to self extricate herself from the vehicle and was suffering from minor injuries.
The patient was treated by the CFD Rescue Squad and transported to Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport.
Firefighters checked the vehicle for any hazards and after up righting the vehicle, stood by on scene for until the vehicle could be removed.
CFD Fire Police units assisted the police with traffic control.
Crews operated on scene for 30 minutes. |
