Twenty-three years have past since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, a day that shall never be forgotten and has forever changed our nation.
Please take time to remember all of the heroes who made the supreme sacrifice and the innocent civilians who lost their lives on this horrific day.
Our thoughts and prayers will always remain with our fallen FDNY brothers and all of the families that lost loved ones that day.
Thank You to those who continue to fight for and protect the freedoms that make each and every one of us proud to be Americans.
Members of the community are invited to visit the Southold Town September 11th & Firefighters Memorial located at Cochran Park in Peconic for remembrance services.
At 6:00 p.m. this evening, a special ceremony sponsored by the Southold Town Fire Chiefs Council will take place and will include the Southold Town Fire Departments.
Local Fire Departments will join together to pay their respects as a group during the ceremony.
