On Saturday Afternoon, members of the Cutchogue Fire Department were invited to be a part of a special Dedication ceremony held by the Southold Fire Department.

The Southold Fire Department was formally dedicating their new Fire-Rescue Boat.

The new boat, unit 8-4-10 is a 2025 34' custom boat build by Munson complete with a fire pump and state of the art electronics.

As part of the days festivities the boat was blessed and officially "christened" with a bottle of champagne broken over the boats bow.

A contingent of CFD members joined other area Fire Departments and dignitaries at the ceremony held at Goldsmiths Boat yard.

Following the ceremony all of the participants and guests were invited to a reception at the firehouse grounds.

The Officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to congratulate the members of the Southold Fire Department on their latest acquisition, May it bring you many years of safe service.

As our neighbors to the east, we look forward to working with you side by side in the waters of the Peconic Bay.
