| On Halloween Night, Hundreds of children and their families converged on the Firehouse as they participated in the Cutchogue Fire Department's Annual Halloween Parade.
Each year the United Fire Company No. 1 and the CFD Ladies Auxiliary host the parade for the children of the community as a safe and fun family Halloween activity.
The parade began at the Village Green at 6:00 pm and marched through Cutchogue Village to the Cutchogue Firehouse. The parade was led by the Cutchogue Fire Department Band and also had a special appearance by Sparky the Firedog.
Along with the usual Monsters and scary creatures, other notable participants included princesses, Hannah Montana, Captain America and several other super heroes.
At the end of the parade all of the participants were treated to a reception at the firehouse that included many delicious treats and refreshments courtesy of the Ladies Auxiliary.
