On Monday June 26th members of the CFD new Truck committee, traveled to Ephrata Pennsylvania to check on the progress of our new Apparatus.

The committee spent the afternoon at the Spartan ERV ladder plant, going over the 2nd phase of construction that was recently completed.

Members had the chance to check and operate the aerial device before the truck enters its final phase of construction.

The final phase will begin next week where the pump and body components will be mounted the chassis along with all finishing work to complete the truck.

Construction of the truck is expected to be completed over the next 6 weeks.

We eagerly look forward to seeing the finished product home in Cutchogue.
