July 4th - Celebrating America's Independence

As part of our nation's celebration of Independence Day, members of the Cutchogue Fire Department, along with the CFD Marching Band, CFD Ladies Auxiliary, and CFD Juniors participated in the annual New Suffolk 4th of July Parade as well as other activities during the day.

CFD is pleased to announce that Our 68th Annual Chicken Barbecue will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 3:30 - 7:30pm.

We are less than 2 months away from the big end-of-summer event.

The meal Includes a 1/2 half Chicken, as well as salads, corn, ice cream with fresh peaches and refreshments that include beer, water and soda.

Tickets are $40.00 each

Busy End to June for CFD

As the month of June comes to a close, Cutchogue's Bravest were kept busy over the past week answering 15 calls for service.

The week included (5) multiple call days that were highlighted by (4) alarms on Saturday. There were (3) instances where multiple calls were handled at the same time.

CFD Announces 2025 Annual Scholarship Recipients - Congratulations!

For 45 years the Cutchogue Fire Department has been awarding scholarships to local deserving college-bound high school seniors who are graduating from our local schools.

These scholarships are made possible through the continued support of our Annual Scholarship Breakfast that is normally held each June as well as donations made to the CFD.

Water Rescue - 4 Boaters Pulled to Safety after Boat Sinks in LI Sound

On Sunday Afternoon at approximately 5:49 p.m the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported water rescue in the Long Island Sound in the area of Duck Pond Point.

Southold Town Police Communications had received a 911 call from a boater reporting his boat taking on water and sinking rapidly.
